Consequent upon the approval of the honorable Chief Minister, Balochistan, the Government of Balochistan Food Department is pleased to order the release of 200,000 wheat bags out of the present stock from the Government Godowns to the Registered/Authorized/Functional Flour Mills, Mini Flour Mills and Chakkies at the subsidized rate of Rs.10542/- per 100 Kgs with bags including all incidental charges for provision of wheat flour at lower rates (Ramadan Package) to the general public during the month of Ramadan. 2. The price of Wheat flour after inclusion of grinding charges (Rs.1374/- per l00 kgs) will be as under: 3. All the instructions, legal formalities regarding release of wheat contained in Food Manual 1986, Food Policy 2006, recommendations of NAB Prevention Committee on Food and approval of the Provincial Cabinet conveyed by S&GAD dated 06th April 2021 for grinding ratio of wheat fixed at 70:30 (Flour & Bran) and advance deposit of price before issuance of wheat shall be strictly adhered to. Functionality of Flour Mills and Chakkies shall be verified by Deputy Director Food, Assistant Director Food, Assistant Fond Controller and In-charge of PRCs concerned. 4. Director General Food will coordinate with Millers to make convenient packages and direct Food department officials at the district level to support and assist concerned Deputy Commissioners in the identification and establishment of sale points, transparency of whole process, maintenance of proper record and availability of flour to the general public as per district wise quota.
