According to the latest government notification, all schools in Punjab will remain closed from March 28 to April 6, 2025 (Friday to Sunday), and will reopen on April 7, 2025 (Monday). However, the notification also mentions that academic and non-academic staff must be present on April 4, 2025, for the announcement of results. The honorarium serves as a special bonus to recognize the dedication and hard work of LESCO’s workforce. According to the official notification, regular, contract, deputation, daily wage, and part-time employees who have been on the company’s payroll for at least six months as of February 28, 2025, will be eligible for this financial benefit. However, employees involved in misconduct, corruption, theft, or facing departmental or legal inquiries (such as NAB/FIA investigations) will not be entitled to receive the honorarium. This initiative aims to support employees and boost morale during the festive season. The bonus will be calculated based on employment type and service duration, ensuring fair distribution across different categories of employees. The daily wages employees would be allowed Honorarium equivalent to the pay determined by adding number of increments corresponding to their number of year served so far to the minimum of the pay scale. c.            The regular employees / contract employees hired on pay scales would be allowed one month running basic pay. d.           The contract employees on lumpsum package/third party/part Time employee would be allowed at rate of 60% thereof. e.            The employees involved in acts of misconduct viz corruption, theft of electricity, embezzlement, fraud and unethical act / gross misconduct etc., will not be entitled. f.             The employees, who are under any enquiry investigation in the department as well as in NAB/FIA etc. will not be eligible. BISE Multan Bans Sharing of Guess Papers & Pairing Schemes on Social Media–Official Notification

Notification / OM No. No 373 /CE Dated 23-March-2025 Notification Issued By: Board Of Intermediate And Secondary Education (BISE) Multan BISE Multan Warns Against Sharing Guess Papers & Pairing Schemes on Social Media: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Multan has issued a strict ban on the sharing of guess papers, pairing schemes, and old question papers on WhatsApp groups and other social media platforms. The board has taken serious notice of such activities, considering them a violation of exam security protocols. As per the Punjab University and Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education Malpractices Act, 1950 (amended in 1999), anyone found guilty of sharing or promoting such content may face up to three years of imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 50,000. Additionally, violators may also be prosecuted under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016 and the PEEDA Act, 2006. Public and private teachers running social media groups have been strictly instructed to avoid uploading or sharing any BISE-related exam materials, or they will face legal action. The BISE Multan Controller of Examination has requested strict compliance to maintain the integrity of the examination system. SUBJECT:             STRICT BAN ON UPLOADING AND SHARING OF GUESS PAPERS, PAIRING SCHEME AND BISE QUESTION PAPERS ETC. ON SOCIAL MEDIA.                         Reference subject cited above, the authority has taken serious notice of the sharing of Guess papers, pairing schemes and old question papers etc on different WhatsApp/ Media groups operated by Public or private teachers/ Persons.                     Such practices are considered as a crime under Section 3(a)(iv),(x) & (xii) of the Punjab University and Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education, malpractices Act, 1950 as amended in 1999.                               Whoever is found guilty of attempting or abetting this crime shall be punished with the imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years and with fine which may extent to Rs.50,000/.                               As such, sharing of the Guess Papers, Pairing Schemes & BISE Question Papers on Social Media Groups is strictly banned.                        Moreover, the persons/ teachers found guilty of such disinformation/ sharing of such material on Social Media are liable to be punished under the prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016. The same is also misconduct which is liable to be proceeded under PEEDA Act 2006.                            You are, therefore, requested to issue necessary directions to all the Public & Private. teachers who are running social media groups/ WhatsApp not to share any kind of material regarding BISE, Exams, otherwise strict lawful action under prevalent rules shall be initiated against them. Your cooperation in this regard shall be highly appreciated.
