Government of Pakistan Finance Division (Regulations Wing) No. F. 9(3)-Reg.6/2024-300                                              Islamabad, the 10th October, 2024 OFFICE MEMORANDUM Subject:-    ORDINARY FAMILY PENSION. The undersigned is directed to refer Finance Division’s O.M. F.No.9(3)R­6/2024-264 dated 10.09.2024 on the subject noted above and to state that queries in this context have been received in Finance Division from different quarters inquiring “whether decision conveyed vide above O.M. is applicable to existing family pensioners who are in receipt of pension and have completed 10 years/age of 21 years as the case may be, and whether their pension may be discontinued on 10.09.2024 or they are entitled to draw their pension as per previous family pension rules”. 2.     It is clarified that the decision does not apply to current family pensioners, as indicated by the use of the adverb “henceforth” in the ruling. All the District Education Officers (M&F) Including Merged Districts Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are directed to circulate the above schedule to the Head of Primary/Middle/High and Higher Secondary Schools under their jurisdiction for compliance with immediate effects in letter and spirit. GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJABSCHOOL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT Dated 10-10-2024 NO.SO(SE-I)1-427/2024(P).             The School Education Department intends to select/post suitable candidates against the posts of District Education Officers (DEOs) and Deputy District Education Officers (DDEOs), in all District Education Authorities in Punjab, through a transparent, competitive and merit-based system in order to provide equal opportunities to all aspiring teachers, as per the following criteria: 1. ELIGIBILITY Sr. No. Post Eligibility 01 DEO Serving in BS- 18 and BS-19;Not more than 55 years of age;Masters’ degree in any subject,At         least     01        year     of administrative experience;Training course(s);No major penalty during entire service. 02 DDEO Serving in BS- 17 and BS-18;Not more than 50 years of age;Masters’ degree in any subject,At         least     01        year     of administrative experience;Training course(s);No major penalty during entire service. Note: Experience as Additional Directors, CEOs, DEOs, DDEOs, Principals, Senior Headmaster/Headmistress, Headmaster/Headmistress and Assistant Director would be considered as administrative experience. 2.         SELECTION PROCESS The selection of the candidates against the posts of DEOs and DDEOs shall be made on the basis of screening test, written assessment and interview by the Departmental Search Committee. 2..1                Screening Test A screening test of basic IT skills in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, email, and use of search engines shall be conducted in QAED IT labs for shortlisting of the candidates for the written assessment. 2.2     Written Assessment Shortlisted candidates shall be assessed through a written test to ascertain their communication and management skills as well as the understanding of the education sector, besides general attributes. Note:   A candidate must obtain at least 50% marks in the written assessment to be eligible to appear before the Departmental Search Committee for interview/final selection. 2.3       Interview The Departmental Search Committee shall interview eligible/qualified candidates. The eligible candidates would be required to make a PowerPoint presentation about their past performance and suitability for the post to the Departmental Search Committee. 3.         General I.       Aspiring leathers may apply online ONLY through HRMIS Portal by using his/her login by path of 20th of October 2024.
