According to this official directive dated 07th April 2025, the new timings will be in effect from 15th April 2025 to 14th October 2025. Offices observing a 5-day workweek (Monday to Friday) will now operate from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with designated lunch and prayer breaks. Friday’s schedule is slightly shortened due to extended Friday prayers, with closing time at 3:30 PM. However, this timing does not apply to hospitals, educational institutions, and their attached offices, which will operate six days a week, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and on Fridays until 12:00 PM.
