In order to prevent any undue hardship to the government officials, the Competent Authority has directed that GP Fund Credits must be clearly mentioned in the Last payment Certificate (LPC) of Government employees during transfer from one district to another, under imitation to the Accountant General’s officer Coordination Monitoring & inspection (CM&I) section. In the case of Muslim Optional Holidays, the number of persons permitted to avail Optional Holidays should be regulated in a manner so as to adequate staff is available for proper continuance of the work. 5. The Optional Holidays are denominational and may be allowed at the discretion of the Head of Office, provided the state of work permits. 6. A Government Servant should not ordinarily be refused an Optional Holiday that is of religious significance to him and the refusal is likely to decrease the number of such holidays to which he is entitled. Notification Of Government Of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Regarding Increase In Pension For Its Civil Employees-Notification

FINANCE DEPARTMENT AZAD GOVT OF THE STATE OF JAMMU & KASHMIR “Muzaffarabad” Dated: 24 July, 2024 Notification: No. FDR/7934-8033 /2024. The President Azad Jammu and Kashmir has been pleased to sanction an increase @15% of net pension with effect from 01.07.2024 until further orders to all civil pensioners of Azad Government of the State of Jammu & Kashmir including array pensioners drawing pension from Azad Jammu and Kashmir. 2.         The increase in pension @15% as mentioned at para-1 above will also be admissible tothe pensioners who would retire on or after 01.07.2024. 3.         For the purpose of admissibility of increase in pension sanctioned in this Notification, the term “Net Pension” means “Pension being drawn” minus “Medical Allowance”. 4.         The increase will also be admissible on family pension granted under thePension-cum-Gratuity Scheme, 1954, Liberalized Pension Rules, 1977, on pension sanctioned under the Azad Kashmir Civil Services Pension Rules, 1971, as well as on the Compassionate Allowance allowed under the AJ&K Civil Servants Act, 1976. This increase will also be admissible to the pensioners in receipt of Extra-ordinary Pension. 5.         If the Gross Pension sanctioned by Azad Government of the State of Jammu & Kashmiris shared with any Government in accordance with the relevant rules, the amount of the increase in pension will be apportioned between the Azad Government of the State of Jammu & Kashmir and the other Government concerned on proportionate basis. 6.         The increase in pension sanctioned in this Notification will not be admissible on Special Additional Pension allowed in lieu of Pre-retirement orderly allowance and salary of a driver or an orderly sanctioned from time to time. Government Of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Sanctions Adhoc Relief Allowance 2024 For Civil Employees-Notification

FINANCE DEPARTMENT AZAD GOVT OF THE STATE OF JAMMU & KASHMIR “Muzaffarabad” Dated: 24 July, 2024 Notification: No. FDR/7834-7933 /2024. The President Azad Jammu & Kashmir has been pleased to sanction w.e.f 01.07.2024 and till further orders, an Ad-hoc Relief Allowance-2024 to all the civil employees of Azad Government of the State of Jammu & Kashmir including contract employees employed against civil posts in Basic Pay Scales on standard terms and conditions of contract appointment as under: i)         BPS-1 to 16    @ 25% of Running Basic Pay ii)        BPS-17 to 22 @ 20% of Running Basic Pay 2.         The amount of Ad-hoc Relief Allowance-2024:- • i)         will be subject to Income Tax; ii)         will be admissible during leave and entire period of LPR except during extra ordinary leave; iii)           will not be treated as part of emoluments for the purpose of calculation of Pension/Gratuity and recovery of House Rent; iv) will not be admissible to the employees during the tenure of their posting/deputation aboard; v) will be admissible to the employees on their repatriation from posting/deputation abroad at the rate and amount which would have been admissible to them had they not been posted aboard; and vi) will not be admissible to contract employees appointed on fixed pay package. 3.         The term “Basic Pay” for the purpose of Ad-hoc Relief Allowance-2024 will also include the amount of the personal pay granted on account of annual increment (s) beyond the maximum of the existing pay scales. 4.         The above Ad-hoc Relief Allowance-2024 shall be accommodated from within the budgetary allocation for the year 2024-25 by the respective Secretariats/departments and no supplementary grants would be given on this account. 5.         Corporations/Autonomous Bodies/Semi-Autonomous Bodies under the control of Azad Government of the State of Jammu & Kashmir may consider the grant of Ad-hoc Relief Allowance-2024 @25% and @20% mentioned above of running basic pay through their Board of Directors/Board of Governors after taking into consideration their own financial position/resource. GOVERNMENT OF KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWAFINANCE DEPARTMENT(REGULATION WING) Dated Peshawar the 23.07.2024 NOTIFICATION; No. FD (SOSR-IV)/3-21/2024/Utility Allowance: In pursuance of the decision of Provincial Cabinet in its special budget meeting held on 24.05.2024, the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been pleased to grant Utility Allowance at fixed rates, to the Employees of Civil Secretariat Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from (BS-03 to BS-18) w.e.f.  1st July, 2024, as per following: – Allowance BPS Rate per month  Utility Allowance BS-03 to 08 Rs. 6000/- BS-09 to 14 Rs. 8000/- BS-15 Rs. 10,000/- BS-16 Rs. 12,000/- BS-17 Rs. 14,000/- BS-18 Rs. 16,000/- 2.                     Further, Utility Allowance be granted @ of Rs.18,000/- per month to 07 Secretariat employees in BS-19 (04 Additional Private Secretaries, 03 officers of the Legislation Wing of Law Department), who do not draw any cadre-specific Allowance(s) above 100% of basic pay.
