Subject: REQUEST OF CONDUCTING RISK ASSESSMENT AND COST-BENEFIT ANALYSIS OF THE OFFICES, AUTONOMOUS BODIES, AUTHORITIES AND COMPANIES UNDER THE VARIOUS ADMINSITRATIVE DEPARTMENT’S FOR CONSIDERATION FOR ABOLITION, DOWNSIZING OR RESTRUCTURING.
The undersigned is directed to refer to the captioned subject and to state that under the reforms initiative directed by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Balochistan an action plan for consideration of abolition, downsizing or restructuring of different offices, authorities, autonomous bodies shall be developed and acted upon at the earliest. In this regard, it is imperative to mention that a risk assessment and cost-benefit analysis of these offices, bodies, and authorities may be conducted at the earliest but not later than three months, and any recommendations thereof may kindly be communicated to this department. A list of existing bodies, authorities and companies is enclosed. In case there are any additions or changes to the list, the same may kindly be intimated to this Department.
2. The Risk Management Unit of Finance Department may extend all its support in conducting the above activity along with provision of any financial analysis or assistance in regulatory matters, please.
