Disciplinary Action for Gutka/Manpuri Chewing and Spitting in Sindh Secretariat – Notification

Subject:          RESTRICTED CHEWING OF PAN / GUTKA & SPITTING IN PREMISES OF SINDH SECRETARIAT.

I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to state that it has been observed with great concern that despite repeated instructions issued from time to time, most of employees chew Gutka / Manpuri & spitting in the premises and corridors of Sindh Secretariat Buildings. Spitting of these substances in the Secretariat premises is causing an unsanitary environment and affecting cleanliness of office spaces. The Competent Authority has, therefore, taken serious notice and has directed to restrict chewing of Gutka / Manpuri in the office premises.

2.                     It is requested to strictly restrict all staff working under your jurisdiction to adhere the above instructions, failing which, disciplinary action under the rules will be initiated against the violators.
