GOVERNMENT OF GILGIT BALTISTAN GILGIT BALTISTAN SECRETARIAT FINANCE DEPARTMENT Gilgit, dated, the 19th July, 2024 NOTIFICATION No.Fin-Reg-1(3)/2024-25: Consequent upon the approval of the Gilgit-Balitistan Assembly and as authenticated by the Governor Gilgit-Balitistan, the Government of Gilgit-Balitistan has been pleased to sanction with effect from 1st July, 2024 and till further orders, an Ad-hoc Relief Allowance-2024 to the civil employees of the Gilgit-Balitistan Government including contract employees employed against civil posts in Basic Pay Scales on standard terms and conditions of contract appointment. The rate of Ad-hoc Relief Allowance-2024 is as under: 2.         The amount of Ad-hoc Relief Allowance-2024:  3.         The terms “Basic Pay” for the purpose of Ad-hoc Relief Allowance-2024 will also include the amount of the personal pay (PP) granted on account of annual increments(s) beyond the maximum of the existing pay scales. 4.         The above Ad-hoc Relief Allowance-2024 shall be accommodated from within the budgetary allocation for the year 2024-25 by the respective Secretariats / Departments and no supplementary grants would be given on this account. No.SO(SE-II)18-80/2021 GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB SCHOOL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT Dated Lahore the 22nd July, 2024 Subject:           AMENDMENT IN LEAVE ENCASHMENT (LPR) BY FINANCE DEPARTMENT I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to state that Finance Department vide Notification bearing No. FD.SR.II/2-97/2019 dated 01.06.2023 has notified amendments in Rule 17 of Revised Leave Rules, 1981 whereby a civil servant, who desires to get the benefit of encashment of LPR, shall submit his written application to his/her Appointing Authority for grant of LPR, at least three months before the date of commencement of his LPR. It has come into the notice of the Competent Authority that concerned offices are not forwarding the cases of LPR well before time and in the light of notification issued by the Finance Department. 2.                     I am, therefore, directed to convey to follow the instructions issued by the Finance Department and forward the cases of LPR to the Department at least three months before the date of commencement of LPR with relevant documents, proper examination and clear recommendations. Balochistan Government Announces 15% Pension Increase for Civil Pensioners: Effective from July 2024-Notification

NO.FD(R-I)V-I/2024/GOVERNMENT OF BALOCHISTANFINANCE DEPARTMENT (Regulation-I) Dated Quetta the 24th July, 2024. NOTIFICATION. NO.FD(R-I)II-29/2024/1173-1273.  The Government of Balochistan Finance Department with prior approval of the Competent Authority is pleased to sanction an increase @15% of net pension with effect from 1st duly 2024 and until further orders to all the Civil Pensioners of the government of Balochistan. 2. The increase in pension sanctioned in this circular will not be admissible on special Additional Pension allowed in lieu of pre-retirement orderly allowance and monetized value of a driver or an orderly, or any other such allowance, if any.s 2024-25 without any supplementary grant on this account. 3. The increase in pension @ 15% as mentioned in para-I above will also be admissible to the pensioners who would retire on or after 1st July 2024. 4. For the purpose of admissibility of increase in pension sanctioned dint his circular the term “Net Pension” means “Pension being drawn” minus “Medical Allowance”. 5. The increase will also be admissible to all the family pensioners of the Provincial Government under the Balochistan Civil Servants Persion Rules, 1989 as well as on the compassionate allowance under Rules 1.9 of the aforesaid rules. 6. If the gross pension sanctioned by the Provincial Government is shared with any Government in accordance with the rules, the amount of the increase in pension will be portioned between the Provincial Government and the other Government concerned on a proportionate basis. Notification-Sindh Government Announces 2024 Adhoc Relief Allowance For All Civil Employees And 2024 Personal Allowance For Bps-01 To Bps-06 Employees

NO.FD(SR-I)01(32)/2024-25 GOVERNMENT OF SINDHFINANCE DEPARTMENT Karachi, the dated 11th July, 2024. OFFICE MEMORANDUM SUBJECT: GRANT OF ADIIOC RELIEF ALLOWANCE-2024 TO ALL CIVIL SERVANT OF SINDII GOVERNMENT AND PERSONAL ALLOWANCE FROM 13PS-01 TO BPS-06. The Government of Sindh i.e Provincial Cabinet has been pleased to sanction an Adhoc Relief Allowance-2024 with effect from 1st July, 2024 to all Civil Servants of Sindh Government as well as contingent paid staff and contract employees against civil posts in Basic Pay Scales on standard terms and conditions of contract appointment. The rate of Adhoc Relief Allowance-2024 is as under:                   i)            BPS-01 to BPS-06        @ 30% of Running Basic Pay                  ii)           BPS-07 to BPS-I6        @ 25% of Running Basic Pay                 iii)           BPS-17 to BPS-22        @ 22% of Running Basic Pay 2.            The amount of Adhoc Relief Allowance-2024; i)         will be subject to Income Tax. ii)        will be admissible during leave and entire period of LPR except during Extra Ordinary Leave (EOL). iii)       will not be treated as part of emoluments for the purpose of calculation of Pension / Gratuity and recovery of House Rent. iv)          will not be admissible to the employees during the tenure of their posting / deputation abroad. v)         will be admissible to the employees on their repatriation from posting / deputation abroad at the rate and amount which would have been admissible to them had they not been posted abroad. 3.           The term “Basic Pay” for the of Adhoc Relief Allowance-2024 will also include the amount of the personal pay granted on account of annual increments(s) beyond the maximum of the existing pay scales. 4.         PERSONAL ALLOWANCE-2024 The Personal Allowance-2024 has been introduced in order to the disparity and bridge the gap between gross salary and minimum wages i.e. Rs.37,000/- per month to the employees in BPS-01 to BPS-06 as per the following details:- Sr. No Particulars Maximum amount per month (in Its.) 01 BPS-01 4,071/- 02 BPS-02 3,494/- 03 BPS-03 2,548/- 04 BPS-04 1,629/- 05 BPS-05 1,245/- 06 BPS-06 I32/- 5.                   The Personal Allowance shall be admissible subject to the following conditions:               i)               This allowance shall he admissible to all those employees from BPS-01 to BPS-06, whose gross monthly salary is less than Rs.37,000/- and shall be adjustable against future annual increments and shall be discontinued after the gross salary reaches at minimum level Rs.37,000/- per month.            ii)          This allowance shall not be admissible to the employees working in BPS-01 to BPS-06, who are already drawing /shall draw their monthly gross salary upto or beyond Rs. 37,000/-per month.            iii)          will not be treated as part of emoluments for the purpose of calculation of Pension / Gratuity and recovery of House Rent. 6.          The above Adhoc Relief Allowance-2024 and Personal Allowance-2024 shall be accommodated within the budgetary allocation for the financial year 2024-2025 by the respective Department and no supplementary grants would be given on this account.
