This training, as per the 2010 Promotion Policy, is essential for ensuring officers are equipped with professional skills and readiness for higher roles within the education system of Punjab. The list of 1606 nominated teachers (892 male and 656 female) has been received from DPI (SE), alongside a separate list of 58 additional candidates, all of whom are required to attend the training. The training will be conducted at district level from May 26 to June 26, 2025, excluding Eid-ul-Azha holidays. Field offices of PECTAA and District Education Authorities have been directed to coordinate arrangements, ensure attendance, and provide proper logistics. It is also mentioned for your kind notice that two lists are attached with this letter. One seniority list of total 1548 (892: Male & 656: Female) that is received from DPI (SE) and another list of 58 participant (38: Male & 20: Female) is also received from DPI (SE) through different letters. This development comes after the approval granted by the Provincial Cabinet during a meeting held on April 15, 2025, and is now being implemented with effect from the Finance Department’s letter dated May 22, 2025. As per the notification, the Constable position will be upgraded from BPS-5 to BPS-7, Dafedar from BPS-6 to BPS-9, and Jamadar from BPS-7 to BPS-11. However, the re-designation of these posts was not approved by the cabinet and will remain unchanged. The upgradation is subject to standard conditions including non-admissibility of pre-mature increment and amendment of recruitment rules in consultation with SGA&CD. This change has been made in response to the extreme heatwave currently affecting the province, ensuring the health and safety of students and teachers. According to the latest Government Notification, all primary, middle, high, and higher secondary schools in the affected areas will follow an early morning schedule, starting as early as 7:15 AM, and concluding before midday. The new timetable includes structured periods for Nazra-e-Quran, subject classes, and recess, while Friday’s school day will end by 10:40 AM for all levels. These changes apply only to schools in the summer zones. Schools in the winter zone will continue to follow the existing schedule. Notification / OM No. No. DD(M)/E-Transfer/2025 Dated 22-May-2025 Notification Issued By: Monitoring Wing, School Education Department, Government Of The Punjab SIS Data Update Made Compulsory for Teachers Holding Admin Posts in Punjab: The Government of Punjab, through the School Education Department’s Monitoring Wing, has issued a crucial Government Notification on 22nd May 2025, instructing District Education Authorities (DEAs) to immediately update the School Information System (SIS) with the correct data of teachers serving on administrative posts. As per Notification No. DD(M)/E-Transfer/2025, it was observed that many educators working as AEOS, Assistant Directors, Deputy DEOs, DEOs, CEOs, and Directors have not been correctly registered in SIS, leading to issues in HR records, data integrity, and e-transfer processing. All Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of DEAs are now directed to ensure that this information is accurately entered in the SIS portal. The updated status for such teachers must be marked as “On Administrative Post”, and the details should be sent to the Monitoring Wing for record accuracy.
